26th District Police Community Relations
The 26th Precinct has been selected for a pilot program intended to increase accountability for crime reporting and enforcemenrt in the East Kensington Area. The program is part of the Phila Police Department’s PPD-2020 initiative.
Every month, EKNA leadership and resident volunteers attend a briefing at the 26th precinct to look at crime data, mapping, and pinpoint problems in the neighborhood.
Keeping track of calls and info about police follow up- (or lack thereof) is important- The 26th police precinct needs to know that the area Civics are keeping track and expect follow-up.
